Remove the knock sensors on the right
Prerequisite
- Ignition is switched off.

Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
When installing the knock sensors, the tightening torque must be observed.
Non-compliance with the tightening torque can lead to malfunction.

Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION OR FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Refer to REMOVING THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR AND THRUST FIELD RESPECTIVELY .
- Refer to REMOVING THE STIFFENING PLATE .
Prerequisite
Ignition is switched off.
The vehicle battery is disconnected.
- Unlock connector (1) and remove from starter motor.
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Disconnect positive battery cable from starter motor.
- Disconnect the positive battery cable from the terminal (2) and set it aside.
- Detach the clamp (1) from the intake plenum.
- Unlock the connector (1) and disconnect it from the knock sensors.
- Loosen screws (3).
- Remove the knock sensors.
