Install the knock sensors on the right

Prerequisite 

Ignition is switched off.

The vehicle battery is disconnected.

Non-compliance with the tightening torque can lead to malfunction.

• Clean the contact surfaces of the knock sensors at the cylinder head.
• Position the knock sensors and secure them with bolts (3).
• Tighten down screws (3).

• Connect the connectors (2) to the knock sensors and lock them into place audibly.
• Mount the clamp (1) on the intake plenum.
• Connect positive battery cable to the starter motor.
• Secure positive battery cable at the clamp (2).
• Tighten nut (1).
