Replacing the alternator
CAUTION:
Component with preload.
Injury hazard!

- Reduce preload as far as possible before disassembly. Relieve component.
- Remove screws (arrows).
- Feed out and remove the belt tensioner on the alternator (1).
- Replace alternator.
Parts: Alternator
- Feed in and install the belt tensioner on the alternator (1).
- Make sure that the special tool 0 496 268 (11 0 390) is fitted correctly.
- Tighten screws (arrows).
