Installing starter motor

• Insert and install the starter motor (2).
• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Starter mounting to engine
  M8x60	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Insert and install the sound insulation (1).
• Secure the clamps (arrows).

• Insert and install terminal 50 (1).
• Tighten nut (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Terminal 50 to starter motor
  M6 hexagon nut	Tightening torque	7 Nm

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (3).
• Attach the positive battery cable (3) at the stop (4).
• Tighten nut (5).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery positive lead to starter
  Cap nut M8	Tightening torque	13.5 Nm
