Install the positive battery cable from the alternator to the auxiliary terminal for jump starting

Prerequisite 

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (1).

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (2).
• Secure clamps (1).
• Make sure the locking mechanism (arrow) engages correctly.

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (2).
• Tighten nut (1).

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Positive battery cable to the alternator
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Fasten the positive battery cable (1) with the holders (arrows).

• Secure the positive battery cable (1) with the clamp (arrow).

• Insert and install the positive battery cable (3).
• Secure clamps (2).
• Tighten nut (1).

  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery positive lead to battery positive terminal
  M8	Tightening torque	19 Nm

• Insert and install the cover (2) in the direction of the arrow.

  The locks (1) must engage audibly.
