Preliminary work
- Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .

RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
- Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
- Guide and remove cover (2) in arrow direction.
- Unlock and loosen all plug connections (1) in the direction of the arrow.
- Guide out wiring harness section for the Valvetronic servomotor (2) and set aside.
- Release the wiring harness mountings (arrow).
- Remove the wiring harness section (1) and put to one side.
- Slide the tank vent line (1) out and set it aside.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Remove the wiring harness section (3).
