Installing the drive for the backrest angle adjustment

• Insert the drive for the backrest angle adjustment (2).
• Connect connector (1).

• Pull out the drive linkage (1) in the direction of the arrow.

• Tighten the screws (1).

Check the seat functions of the front seat 

• Connect special tool 0 496 519 (61 4 150)  with the wiring harness of the vehicle and the removed front seat.

Connecting all battery earth leads

• Check the seat functions using the operating unit on the front seat.

• Disconnect special tool 0 496 519 (61 4 150)  from the wiring harness of the vehicle and the removed front seat.

• Attach the backrest cover (2).
• Secure the clip (1).

• Secure the seat cover (1) in the indicated area.

Follow-up Work 

• Mount the front seat backrest REAR PANEL .
• Install front seat inner COVER .
• Install front seat outer COVER .
• Install front SEAT .
• INITIALIZE the electrical seat adjustment drives.
