Disconnecting the negative auxiliary battery lead in the engine compartment

Check 

• Check if an auxiliary battery is fitted in the engine compartment.

  Follow and comply with NOTES on 48-V battery and deactivate theELECTRICAL SYSTEM .

  INSTRUCTIONS  for 12 V dual storage system

Result 

» Auxiliary battery is not fitted in the engine compartment.

Measure

• Install the left cowl panel cover.

Result 

» Vehicle electrical system support battery is installed.

Measure

• Disconnect negative battery lead from the vehicle electrical system support battery.

Result 

» 12V dual storage system is installed.

Measure

• Disconnect the negative battery cable of the 12V dual storage system.

Result 

» 48 V battery is installed.

Measure

• Disconnect negative battery cable of the 48 V battery.
