Installing the vehicle electrical system support battery

• Install vehicle electrical system support battery (5)  .
• Position the vent hose (1).
• Tighten the battery holder with the screw (2).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Battery holder to body
  M8 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Position the positive battery terminal (4) on the positive battery terminal,
• Tighten the nut on the positive battery terminal (4).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Positive battery terminal to battery
  Nut	Tightening torque	5 Nm

• Position the negative battery terminal (3) on the negative battery terminal.
• Tighten the nut on the negative battery terminal (3).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Negative battery terminal
  Nut	Tightening torque	5 Nm

Follow-up Work 

• Check the battery VENT HOLES .
• Install spring strut dome TENSION STRUT .
• Install cowl panel COVER .
• Install left and right WIPER ARM .
• Install the rear right engine compartment COVER .
• Connect all battery EARTH LEADS .
• Activate the 48 v ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
