- Do not oil or grease special tool 2 360 072 (lifting device for cell module) as the holding force is no longer present.
- Observe Service Information of special tool 06 06 14 (134).
Removing the radiator, top
- Remove the plastic washers from the positioning pin.
- Unscrew the bolts (1) from the radiator (2).
- Carefully lift out radiator (1).
Handling refrigerant lines
- Seal all components and lines in refrigerant circuit as well as return delivery parts immediately after disassembling with the special tool 0 494179 (32 1 270) , to prevent any ingress of moisture or foreign bodies.
- Release the screws (1) the luggage compartment removable panel.
- Remove the removable panel (1).
- Disconnect high-voltage cables (1).
- Disconnect connector (1) at cell monitoring electronics
- Loosen screws (1) cell module.
Raise the cell module out of the high-voltage battery unit
- Insert the special tool 2 360 072
to the stop in the bores for the screw connection of the cell module (2).
The bores into which the special tool 2 360 072 is inserted must be positioned diagonally across from each other.
- Turn the thumbwheels (1) to the right until resistance is no longer felt.
- Before raising the cell module (2), make sure that the special tool is securely connected to the cell module (2).
NOTE:
