Preliminary work
- Remove right flap in luggage compartment TRIM PANEL .
- De-energize the HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
- CHECK that no voltage is applied.
- Disconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
- Remove the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION/FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- DRAIN the coolant from the low-temperature cooling system

NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Observe the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in electrical and hybrid vehicles!

- Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (1).
- Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (2).
- Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (3).
- Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (4).
- Carefully raise the clamps (1) from the coolant connections.
» Do not pull the coolant connections off at this time!
- Connect the special tools 2 336 647 to all high-voltage connections.
- Prepare the collecting vessel for the coolant.
- Disconnect the coolant line (1).
- Disconnect the coolant line (2).
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Remove the convenience charging electronics (KLE) (2).
