Removing the rear lane change warning sensor

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
To guarantee the quality of the driver assistance functions in vehicles with concealed radar sensors installed, the component may only be repainted by observing the repair specifications described in the service information "Standards for repair painting with sensor systems".
No stickers or foils (transparent or colored) may be attached in the radiation areas of the radar sensors.
The component may be painted if no radar sensors have been installed.
The following features can be used to identify whether radar sensors are installed on the vehicle:
Radar sensors are installed at the rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame).
Radar sensors are installed at the front and rear if the triangular warning light is located on the exterior mirror (in the mirror glass or on the mirror frame) in conjunction with the optional equipment S5ATA or S5AUA.

Preliminary works
- Remove the luggage compartment floor TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the loading EDGE TRIM .
- Partially remove the left luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
- Partially remove the right luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
- Remove both the side panel REAR LIGHTS .
- Remove rear bumper TRIM .
