Special tools required:

NOTE: Carry out the listed work steps for:
Installing a new or replacement transmission.

Course of action:

Automatic transmission removed.

Connect the corresponding adapters to the oil lines from the automatic transmission (see description below).

Connect access line 17 2 019 from the oil dispenser unit by means of the quick-release coupling.

Connect drain line 17 2 018 by means of the quick-release coupling.

Hold the open end of the drain line in a suitable collecting vessel.

Using oil dispenser unit, flush approx. 1 liter of approved transmission oil through oil lines and transmission oil cooler.

Reconnect quick-release couplings.

Flush oil lines/transmission oil cooler in the opposite direction with approx. 1 liter of approved transmission oil.

Disconnect quick-release couplings.

Remove adapter.

Recycling:

Do not reuse flushing oil under any circumstances.

Dispose of flushing oil in accordance with country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Press hydraulic lines (1) into adapter (2).

Insert clamping bracket (3) in guides and secure with screw (4).
