- Note component's center of gravity.
- Support component using a jack.
- Secure component against falling off the jack.
- Replace seal (1).

- Replace nuts (1).

- Tighten nuts (1).
Tightening torques
Exhaust system to catalytic converter Nut M8 Tightening torque 10 Nm Tightening torque 28 Nm - Tighten the union nuts (1).
Tightening torques
Pressure line to exhaust system Coupling nut Tightening torque 20 Nm - Connect the gasoline particulate filter to the center silencer (2) with the gripper clamp.
- Center the gripper clamp (1) and tighten the nuts in the area (2).
Tightening torques
Clamp with partial replacement of exhaust system Clamp Tightening torque 45 Nm - Make sure that the clamp (1) moves freely during operation and does not make any noise.
- Position the cross-member (2).
- Tighten nuts (1).

Cross-member to underfloor gasoline particulate filter Nut M8 Tightening torque 19 Nm
