Removing delivery unit (vehicles with stationary heating system)
Prerequisite

- When working on the fuel system, make sure the workstation has sufficient ventilation, e.g., by means of extraction.
- Tightly seal off open lines and connections; collect any leakage fuel directly at the point of exit.
- No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
- Collect and dispose of emerging fluids. Observe country-specific waste disposal regulations.

Preliminary work
- Refer to SUCTION THE FUEL TANK .
- Refer to REMOVE REAR SEAT BENCH .
- Refer to OPENING THE LOCKING RING
- Lift flange lid (1) in arrow direction.
- Detach cable from holder (2).
- Disconnect plug connection (1).
- Remove fuel supply line for stationary heating system from surge tank.
- Unclip surge tank for stationary heating system (1) at locking mechanism (2), and remove upwards.
- Unlock and detach the snap fastener (1).
- Unlock lock (1) arrow direction from the top.
- Slightly push delivery unit (2) in arrow direction and feed out to the top.
