Checking cylinder head for watertightness

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER TRIM STRIP .

• Position the cylinder head (1) on the special tool 2 361 215  and tighten with the enclosed (short) screws.
• Remove the venting connector.
• Install the special tool 2 410 136  (valve).

  M10 Replace the venting connector!	Tightening torque	18 Nm

• Make sure that the pressure does not exceed 3 bar.
• Heat up the cylinder head to 60°C in a water bath.
• Visually inspect for a loss of pressure in the water bath.
• Remove all special tools.
• Install the venting connector.
