Installing servomotor for the eccentric shaft

Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses.
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.

- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Replace seal (1).
Parts: Gasket
- Press the seal (1) up to the limit position on the housing.
- Grease the gearing (1) of the eccentric shaft servomotor (2) in the marked area.

- Clean sealing surface (1).
- Insert the servomotor (1) to the gearing on the cylinder head.
- Turn the drive shaft of the servomotor (1) in the direction of the arrow with a standard tool (2) until the servomotor (1) is flush with the cylinder head.
- Tighten down screws (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Connect and lock the connector (1).
- Make sure the connector (1) engages audibly.
- Insert and install the tank vent line (2).
- Ensure that the locks (1) engage audibly.
- Feed in and install wiring harness section (2) for sensor system 2.
- Ensure that the locks (1) engage audibly.
