Remove the gear from the crankshaft
- Replace the bearing screws (1).

- Clean the thread in the engine block with a screw tap.
- Replace the bearing screws (2).

- Clean the thread in the engine block with a screw tap.
- Replace the sprocket wheel (3).
Parts : Camshaft sprocket
- Detach the gear (1) using the special tools 0 490 798 (11 2 000) and 0 490 798 (11 2 000) .
- Make sure that there are no metal chips or similar impurities in the area of the chain drive, clean if necessary.
