Replacing the cylinder head (remounting components)
- Loosen screw (1).
- Remount the lifting eye (2) and tighten with the screw (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Front lifting eye on the cylinder head M8 x 22 Tightening torque 19 Nm - Replace the venting connector (3).

- Remount the venting connector (3).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Venting connector/special tool to cylinder head M10
Replace the venting connector!Tightening torque 18 Nm - Remount the temperature sensor (4).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Temperature sensor to cylinder head M12x1.5 Tightening torque 2 Nm - Remove the roller tappet (2).
- Loosen the marked screws and remount the high-pressure pump bracket (1).
- Tighten marked screws.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Exhaust camshaft to cylinder head M6 Tensile strength of screw 8.8 Joining torque 9.6 Nm Tightening torque 9.6 Nm M6 Tensile strength of screw 10.9 Joining torque 11.8 Nm Tightening torque 11.8 Nm - Install roller tappet into the high pressure pump bracket (1).
NOTE:
The guides must be flush.
