Replacing the left cylinder head cover

• Remount clamps (1) on the cylinder head cover (2).

• Loosen screws (2).
• Remove camshaft position sensors (1).

  Check 

• Check O-rings (1) on the camshaft position sensors for damage.

Result 

» O-ring (1) damaged.

Measure

• Replace O-ring (1).

  Parts:  O-ring

  Result 

  » O-ring (1) not damaged.

  Measure

• Continue the repair.
• Coat O-ring of camshaft position sensor with engine oil.
• Position camshaft position sensors (1).
• Tighten down screws (2).

  Torx screw M6	Tightening torque:	8 Nm

• Loosen screws (1).
• Remove liquid-vapor separator (2).
• Position the liquid-vapor separator (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).
