Replacing the left cylinder head cover
- Remount clamps (1) on the cylinder head cover (2).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Remove camshaft position sensors (1).
Check
- Check O-rings (1) on the camshaft position sensors for damage.
Result
» O-ring (1) damaged.
Measure
- Replace O-ring (1).

» O-ring (1) not damaged.
Measure
- Continue the repair.
- Coat O-ring of camshaft position sensor with engine oil.
- Position camshaft position sensors (1).
- Tighten down screws (2).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover Torx screw M6 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Loosen screws (1).
- Remove liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Position the liquid-vapor separator (2).
- Tighten down screws (1).
