Remove lower oil pan section

WARNING: Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly.
Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!

Conduct all work in the vehicle wearing appropriate personal protective equipment only.

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Engine damage caused by excessively filling the engine with motor oil.
Filling an excessive quantity of motor oil may cause engine damage.

Observe the exact motor oil filling capacity.
Allow engine oil to drip off when draining.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Make sure the vehicle is operating temperature for engine oil service (engine oil temperature > 70°C).

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION OF THE STEERING GEAR AND THRUST FIELD RESPECTIVELY .
Refer to RELEASING THE OIL DRAIN PLUG .
Refer to REMOVING THE STIFFENING PLATE .

Uninstall cable holder (1).
Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Loosen screws in area (1).
Secure the oil pan from falling down and remove.
