Replace oil pump

• Position special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) on special tool 0 496 369 (11 8 920).
• Attach and connect the special tools hand-tight with standard M8 screws (1).

• Do not counter-hold the oil pump drive with pliers.

• Correctly position the special tools 0 496 369 (118 920) and 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2) on the sprocket wheel.
• With the help of a second person, counter-hold the oil pump on the special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2).

• Loosen nut (1).

• Check the dihedral (arrow) of the oil pump shaft (1) for damage.

  The dihedral (arrow) of the oil pump shaft (1) must not be damaged; replace the oil pump if necessary.

• With the help of a second person, counter-hold the oil pump on the special tool 0 493 940 (11 9 280) (2).
• Replace nut (1).

• Tighten the nut (1) with the special tool 0 490 504 (00 9120).
