Starter Generator - C29-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 2.0L TDI ENGINE (0K4): Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to the appropriate service information Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K4 AND VH0 .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the A/C compressor from the bracket and tie up to the side. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Disconnect the connector -5-.

-- Free up the B+ wire -6- on the engine support.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Loosen the starter generator -4- from the bracket and position slightly forward.

-- Remove the nut -2- and free up the B+ wire -1-.

-- Remove the starter generator downward to the side.
