Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Replace the seals and O-ring -4- after removal.
• Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Coat the new O-rings -4- with coolant. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).

-- Make sure both alignment pins are installed in the cylinder block (install if necessary).

-- Install the connection piece -2- into the engine oil cooler -1-.

-- Push the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493- -3- onto the connecting piece and centering pins in the cylinder block.

-- Tighten the bolts for the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-. Refer to Figure.

-- Install the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the coolant hose to the connector coupling. Refer to Figure.

-- Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING USING Cooling System Charge Kit: VAS6096 [DMTA, DPAA, DPUA, DPVA, DMTC, DRYA, DUVA] .
