OUTER FRONT COOLANT PIPE ON Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing
-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING, HIGH-VOLTAGE COOLING CIRCUIT .
-- Remove the coolant expansion tank for the engine coolant circuit. Refer to the appropriate service information. .
-- Remove the left front wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Loosen the left front underbody trim panels in the front area. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .
-- Remove the bolt -2- and nut -4-.
There is a risk of damaging the straps on the plastic coolant pipes if they are handled incorrectly.
- Counterhold at the coolant pipe when disconnecting and connecting the coolant hose.
-- Loosen the hose clamps -5 and 6- and remove the coolant hoses.
-- Free up the wires on the coolant pipe -3-.
-- Pivot the grommet -1- outward and remove the coolant pipe -3-.
