Overview - Engine/Motor Coolant Temperature Sensor, All Without High-Voltage System Except Q7/Q8

1. Bolt
   • 4.5 Nm
   • Thread cutting
   • Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
2. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-
   • Different installation positions
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. O-Ring/Centering Ring
   • Allocation. Refer to Fig 2.
   • Coat with coolant
4. O-Ring/Centering Ring
   • Allocation. Refer to Fig 2.
   • Coat with coolant
5. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
   • On transmission side of the cylinder head
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
6. Bolt
   • 9 Nm

• Check the centering ring -1- for damage, if it is, then replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
• Always replace the O-ring -2- after disassembly.
