Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Remove the Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -2-.

-- Disconnect the connectors:

For the Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-

For the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205-

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the camshaft adjustment valve:

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Check the seals for damage and leaks. If necessary, replace the seals, to do so, remove the upper timing chain cover -item : Upper Timing Chain Cover.
Replace the O-rings and bolts after removing.

-- Oil the O-rings on the sealing surface to the valve for the camshaft adjustment with engine oil.

-- Install the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
