Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K4 AND VH2: Disconnecting

-- De-energize the 48V system. Refer to 48V SYSTEM, DE-ENERGIZING .

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Lift the luggage compartment floor cover.

-- If equipped, remove the spare tire and vehicle tool kit bracket.

-- Open the cover -3- over the battery negative terminal.

-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and remove the battery ground cable clamp -2- from the battery terminal.
