BELT PULLEY (WITHOUT A/C Clutch -N25-), REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A/C COMPRESSOR "Denso" MANUFACTURER VERSION "1": Installing
- Only bend the circlip -A- as much as necessary for installation.
-- Clean the A/C compressor flange before installing the belt pulley -B-.
-- Install the belt pulley -B-.
-- Insert the new circlip -A- on the correct side; the side with beveled insertion edge -C- faces away from the A/C compressor (install flat side facing A/C compressor).
-- Clean the A/C compressor shaft threads.
TIP
- The threads of the new drive plate has already been greased with a specific amount of a grease by the manufacturer.
-- When installing the drive plate, coat the rubber elements -D- lightly, for example, with tire mounting paste or soap solution (as lubricant).
-- Insert the rubber elements -D- in belt pulley -B- as shown.
-- Press the drive plate rubber element -C- far enough into the belt pulley -E- until the drive plate -C- contacts the A/C compressor shaft threads -B-.
-- Attach the drive plate -C- to the compressor shaft -B- by turning it opposite the direction of the -arrow-.
-- Hold the compressor shaft -B- with a commercially available hex socket (7 mm) and tighten the drive plate -C- together with the belt pulley -E- opposite the direction of the -arrow-.
