-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Carefully loosen and remove the right plenum chamber cover -A-. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• Depending on the version, for some countries with high dust levels (for example China), a dust filter is installed in the filter mount instead of the grille. This dust filter prevents pollen and sand from getting sucked into the Fresh Air Blower -V2-. Allocation. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Check the plenum chamber cover -A- for damage.

-- Check the intake box -B- and the outer cover (rain water drain channel) -C- for damage and correct installation.

-- Check the catch on the plenum chamber cover -A- to the windshield frame -C- for damage. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
