Parking Lock Solenoid -N486- /Drive Position Sensor -G676-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Mechatronic. Refer to MECHATRONIC, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and the oil pipe -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and push the coolant pipe for the transmission to the side. (different versions)

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and move the parking lock emergency release cable -1- to the side. (different versions)

-- Press the tensioning pin -1- out using the Removal Tool: T40437  -A-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the parking lock cover -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- At the same time using a pin punch shaft turn the parking lock approximately 3° against the spring force in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the Parking Lock Solenoid -N486-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and the Drive Position Sensor -G676-.
