Engine, Supporting In Installation Position, AUDI A4/A5

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine Support Set: 10-222B

Procedure

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right cover for the fender. Refer to OVERVIEW - FENDER .

-- Position the Engine Support Bridge: 10-222A  as shown on the left and right fender bolting edges.

-- Engage the Engine Support Set - Spindle: 10-222B/11  on the engine lifting eye.

-- Pretension the engine with the spindle, do not lift.

Assembling 

Assemble in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Remove the engine support from the engine.

-- Remove the fender covers. Refer to OVERVIEW - FENDER .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
