- On the lock carrier
- Clean off any salt and dirt
Water Drain
- Clean
Mount
- For the air filter housing
Sealing Piece
Not Installed
Air Filter Lower Section
- Clean off any salt and dirt
- Removing and Installing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Air Filter Element
- Use an original air filter element. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
- Replacement intervals. Refer to the appropriate service information
- Removing and Installing. Refer to AIR FILTER ELEMENT, REPLACING AND CLEANING HOUSING
Bolt
- 3.5 Nm
- Thread cutting
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
Air Filter Upper Section
- Clean off any salt and dirt
- Removing and Installing. Refer to AIR FILTER ELEMENT, REPLACING AND CLEANING HOUSING
Seal
- Check for damage
Bolt
- 3.5 Nm
- Thread cutting
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
Mass Airflow Sensor -G70-
- Installed depending on the emissions standard
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor -G70-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Air Duct Pipe
- Pay attention to the marks for installing
- Screw-type clamps tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .
Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Thread cutting
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
Heat Shield
Air Duct
- On the lock carrier
- Clean off any salt and dirt
Bolt
- 2.5 Nm
- Thread cutting
- Position the bolt by hand and tighten it until it finds the old threads. Then tighten the bolt to the specification.
