High Pressure Pipe, Removing And Installing: Removing

• Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wires on the heat shield -1-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and bolts -2- and remove the heat shield.

-- Place a cloth underneath to catch leaking fuel.

-- Remove the union nuts -1 and 2- and then remove the high pressure pipe.
