Heated Oxygen Sensor, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Coat the new heated oxygen sensors with an assembly paste. This paste must not get into the slots of the heated oxygen sensor body. 
• Only the threads on a used heated oxygen sensor may be coated with hot bolt paste. This paste must not get into the slots of the heated oxygen sensor body. Hot bolt paste. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA).
• The oxygen sensor wire must always be attached at the same location when installing. Do not let the wire connection come in contact with the exhaust pipe.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
