1. Connection
2. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
   • Quantity: 2
   • Coat with coolant
3. Alignment Pin
   • Inserted in the cylinder block
4. Bolt
   • Tightening Specifications and Sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
5. Seal
   • Replace after removing
6. Coolant Pump
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • For a new coolant pump, remove the protective cap
7. Bolt
   • Tightening sequence. Refer to Fig 3.
8. Toothed Belt
   • For the coolant pump
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
9. Bolt
   • 9 Nm
10. Toothed Belt Guard
    • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information for the allocation.
11. Bolt
    • 17 Nm
    • Left-hand thread
12. Toothed Belt Sprocket
    • Note the installation position
13. Seal
    • For the intake side balance shaft
    • Replacing. Refer to BALANCE SHAFT GASKET, REPLACING, INTAKE SIDE .
14. Intake Side Balance Shaft
15. Seal
    • Replace after removing
16. Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 5-.
