Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Make sure both alignment bushings for centering in the oil pump are installed.

-- Before installing check the screen -item  : Oil Screen in the oil pump and the oil channel in the oil pan upper section for debris.

-- Guide the oil pump chain sprocket into the drive chain and install the oil pump.

-- Remove the Fastening Device: T40414  and check if the drive chain is correctly positioned on the chain sprocket.

-- Install the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
