All-Wheel Drive Clutch
- The all-wheel drive clutch has its own fluid system.
- Check the ATF level and fill (if necessary) when replacing or after repairing the all-wheel drive clutch. Refer to OIL LEVEL, CHECKING .
- Capacities (Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH CAPACITY, 0CX AND 0DJ ) and specifications. Refer to the Parts Information.
- Clutch Torque, Checking. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH TORQUE, CHECKING .
ATF for All-Wheel Drive Clutch, Replacing
- If the ATF is being replaced, the >>oil age adaptation values<< under Guided Functions in the 22 - AWD electronics folder and the function 22 - Perform ATF change for all-wheel drive clutch must be reset to a new ATF. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH OIL, DRAINING AND FILLING .
All-Wheel Drive Clutch, Replacing
- All-Wheel Drive Clutch, Removing and Installing. Refer to ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- If the all-wheel drive clutch is being replaced, it must be activated under Guided Functions in the 22 - AWD electronics folder with the function 22 - Replace control module . Refer to ADDITIONAL WORK WHEN REPLACING ALL-WHEEL DRIVE CLUTCH .
All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492-, Replacing
- All-Wheel Drive Control Module, Removing and Installing. Refer to CONTROL MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- If the All-Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- is being replaced, additional work is required (reading out the adaptation values of the old control module). Refer to ADDITIONAL WORK FOR VEHICLES WITH "quattro ultra" .
