Potential Equalization Measurement

After installing the high-voltage components or potential equalization cables a potential equalization measurement must be performed on the applicable high-voltage components.

• The 12 V and the high-voltage connections are not yet connected to the high-voltage component
• The potential equalization cable is installed correctly and is connected to the high-voltage component

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select the ODIS service  mode and start.

-- Select the special functions  tab.

-- Select one after the other:

• High Voltage 
• Potential equalization measurement on high-voltage components 

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
