Flywheel, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Always clean the transmission housing in the area where the differential -arrow A- and the shaft seal -arrow B- are accessed.

• Replace damaged shaft seals located between the differential and the transmission housing -arrow B-.

-- Fill the space between the sealing/dust lip halfway with sealing grease. Refer to the Electronic Parts Information (ETKA) for the correct sealing grease.

-- Clean the input shaft -arrow-.

-- Lightly grease the input shaft splines with Grease for Clutch Plate Shaft Splines.

-- Slide the clutch module onto the input shaft -arrow- carefully without tilting it.

-- Remove the Puller - Clutch Module: T40176  from the flywheel -A-.

-- Install the left flange shaft. Refer to LEFT FLANGE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
