Cam Adjustment Actuator, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• Check the O-rings for damage
• The cam adjustment actuator pin must be brought into the installation position. 

-- Press down the cam adjustment actuator pin -arrow- by hand.

• The adjusting element pin must not be in the outward position.

-- Coat the O-rings with engine oil.

Refer to the appropriate service information.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
