Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Transmission Side: Removing

Vehicles without high-voltage system: transmission removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING or appropriate service information .
Vehicle with high-voltage system: engine/transmission removed and separated on the scissor lift table. Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .

-- Remove the intermediate plate. Refer to Figure.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8-.

-- Remove the sealing flange.

-- Cover the open engine components with a clean cloth.
