Upper Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

Replace the gaskets and seals if damaged or leaking.
Replace the O-rings after removing them.

-- Coat the seals and the O-rings with engine oil.

Seal installation position: smaller inner diameter outward.

-- Install the camshaft adjustment valves. Refer to Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- / Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the lock carrier cover. Refer to LOCK CARRIER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
