-- Remove the hook release lever. Refer to HOOK RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the expanding clips -arrows- using the :T40172C  .

-- Release the lock carrier cover catches -5- on the radiator grille -4- and on the bumper cover -3- using the :T40233  in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover.
