Draining A Fuel Tank Less Than 3/4 Full, All Vehicles

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Fuel Extraction Unit :VAS5190A 

-- Open the sealing flange. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Pull the sealing flange out of the opening in the fuel tank just a little.

-- Slide the suction hose from the :VAS5190A  into the fuel tank.

-- Siphon fuel with the :VAS5190A  through the opening.

-- AWD Vehicles: Extract the fuel from both the fuel tank chambers through the opening using the :VAS5190A  .
