MISFUELING Guard, Deactivating

NOTE:

The instruction only applies to TDI vehicles.

Procedure

-- Remove the misfueling guard. Refer to MISFUELING GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the tabs at the marks, as shown.

NOTE:

The misfueling guard locking latch must be able to open without catching.

-- Install the misfueling guard. Refer to MISFUELING GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
