GROUND CABLE WITH Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K0, 0K4 AND VH2: Removing

-- Equipped on some models (0K4 + VH2): de-energize the 48 V system. Refer to 48V SYSTEM, DE-ENERGIZING .

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Lift the luggage compartment floor.

-- If equipped, remove the spare tire and vehicle tool kit mount.

-- Remove the spare wheel well trim, if equipped. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS .

-- Open the cover -4- over the battery negative terminal.

-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and remove the battery ground cable clamp from the battery terminal.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the nut -6- and ground cable -5- with the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367- -2-.
