Battery, 48 V -A6-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH2: Removing

-- Remove the rear panel sill frame. Refer to REAR PANEL SILL FRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the subwoofer. Refer to SUBWOOFER -R211-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Visually inspect and classify the Battery, 48 V -A6-. Refer to Battery, 48 V -A6-, VISUALLY INSPECTING AND CLASSIFYING .

-- Remove the Battery -A-. Refer to Battery -A-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH2 .

-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the cap -1- from the "+" and "-" terminal.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the nuts -1 and 3- and remove the battery terminal clamps from the battery terminals.

-- Remove the pressure vent tube -2- from the grommet -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and nut -5-.

-- Lift out the battery -4-.

-- Remove the Battery, 48 V -A6- from the protective housing. Refer to PROTECTIVE HOUSING FOR Battery, 48 V -A6-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 0K4 AND VH2 .
