Generator -C-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH 1.4L TFSI ENGINE, 0K0, NORTH AMERICAN MARKET: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING, 0K0 .

-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the screws -arrows-.

-- Loosen the generator -4- from the bracket.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the nut -2- and remove the B+ wire -3-.

-- Remove the generator upward.
